Every year we submit over 100,000 export declarations in the Netherlands and Belgium, supporting exporters from all industries with all types of products to all possible destinations. We also draw up relevant documents such as certificates of origin (EUR1, COO, ATR, T2L) and excise duties documents (eAD).

Exporting outside the EU
If you export goods outside of the EU, you need an export document. We will draw up your export declarations and ensure that these documents are correctly processed in the export control system (ECS). This prevents any additional tax assessments.
What we do for you:
- If you give us your invoice ahead of time, we will resolve any uncertainties.
- We ensure a correct digital declaration.
- If your shipment is inspected by customs, we take care of everything and minimize delays.
- We register your container in the port community systems of Rotterdam and Amsterdam (Portbase) and Antwerp (APCS).
- We deregister your shipment in ECS.
Your profile: Importer
You need an import document if you import goods from outside the EU into the EU. We will draw up your import declaration and ensure it is processed correctly in the export control System (ECS), to prevent any additional tax assessments.

Transit – Multinational Coverage Customs Guarantees
SGS clients can submit transit declarations from 25 NCTS and non-NCTS countries through a single application. Clients do not need their own customs guarantees; this is all provided by SGS. Our multilingual application embeds all national rules, enabling clients to create their transit declarations themselves and monitor them from departure to termination. SGS TransitNet is an authorised consignor and AEO certified in several countries. We offer additional services to support outbound journeys.
