With our TransitNet solution, where SGS acts as an authorized consignor from many locations, transporters can start transits 24/7. This ensures that transporters can cross borders efficiently – customs controls occur only on one side of the border (scanning of a barcode) and deliver goods at an authorized consignee’s premises or at a government customs office. TransitNet also enables our clients to create, submit and monitor their declarations until the goods have arrived at their destination and the declaration has been discharged.
