The objective of this session is to provide expert guidance on the subject of origin, both preferential in regard to trade agreements, but also touching on non-preferential, and the implications of UK companies of the introduction of the UK Certificate of Origin. Attendees will leave with an understanding of the steps required to ensure their goods are sent and received with the relevant origin status, minimizing duties and transactional friction.

Accurate classification can be time-consuming, but inaccurate classification can be far worse. The session will also cover valuation methods, and provide guidance to ensure companies don’t fall foul during post clearance audits.
